A lambda sensor is a lambda sensor oxygen sensor which is located in the exhaust of a Honda outboard motor

(LF series).

The lambda sensor measures the proportion of oxygen in the exhaust gas and passes them to the CDI of the Honda outboard motor. The value is an indicator for the effectiveness of the combustion. Depending on the lambda value is this by the engine management system adjusted by the composition of fuel and air to adjust by the gasoline injection ratio adjust, by the injection time of the injectors to change.

The operation of the lambda sensor is best with diagnostic equipment and or good multimeter/scoop.
